Tour Details | Start by meeting your instructor at the designated spot within Kenrokuen, a historic site traditionally used for hosting esteemed guests. If you prefer not to sit on traditional tatami mats, a standing-style ceremony option is available. The ceremony begins with a demonstration by the tea master, who will explain and show the proper use of various tea utensils. Participants will then have the opportunity to prepare their own tea under the guidance of the master. Enjoy the freshly brewed tea accompanied by wagashi sweets from a renowned local confectioner. Conclude the experience with a photo session to capture memories of the traditional tea ceremony. |
