Introduction: We invite you to join the Shibukai River Fishing Tournament, a delightful event set in the scenic Shibukai River, located just a 2-hour drive from Tokyo in Tōkamachi City, Niigata Prefecture. This annual fishing competition, surrounded by nature, offers exciting prizes for the most impressive catches, including the Grand Catch Award, Big Fish Award, and Special Species Award.

  • Registration: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM
  • Judging: 11:00 AM
  • Location: Roadside Station “Sekigae no Sato Senda” (826-1 Nakasenda, Tōkamachi, Niigata Prefecture)
  • Participation Fee:
    • Adults: ¥1,000
    • Children: ¥500
