Private Train Tour: “Corn Harvesting Experience!”

Introduction: Experience the vibrant summer season on the nature-rich Miura Peninsula with the “Corn Harvesting Experience” tour, perfect for families. This tour offers the opportunity to harvest fresh and delicious corn, a summer delicacy. Corn is at its best when freshly picked, being juicy and sweet. Participants can personally harvest corn and take home 10 ears as a souvenir. In addition to the harvesting experience, you can also enjoy tasting freshly picked corn from the field.

Details:

  1. Schedule:
    • Date: July 29, 2023 (Saturday)
    • Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Rain or shine)
  2. Capacity:
    • Maximum of 100 participants (Minimum required: 60 participants)
  3. Application Period:
    • From July 7, 2023 (Friday) 3:00 PM to July 21, 2023 (Friday) 5:00 PM
    • Additional applications may be accepted depending on availability.
    • Applications will close if the maximum capacity is reached within the specified period.
  4. Tour Schedule:
    • Departure from Shinagawa Station (Outside the Takanawa Exit)
    • Departure on a private train “Le Ciel” from Shinagawa Station to Miura Kaigan Station
    • Transfer by private bus
    • Lunch at “Miura Seafood Bowl” (Mahoroba Minds Miura)
    • Transfer by private bus
    • Arrival at JA Yokosuka Hayama Nagai Branch
    • Walking to the corn harvesting experience at “Sukana Gosso”
    • Return to Miura Kaigan Station by private bus
    • Departure on the private train “Le Ciel” from Miura Kaigan Station to Shinagawa Station (Disbanding at Shinagawa Station outside the ticket gate)

Activities:

  • Corn Harvesting Experience (Approx. 90 minutes):
    • Each family of two can harvest 10 fresh and sweet ears of corn. Additional participants can add 5 ears per person.
    • After the harvesting experience, you can taste freshly boiled corn.
  • “Sukana Gosso” Agricultural Products Direct Sales Shop (Shopping Time: Approx. 30 minutes):
    • You can purchase fresh vegetables from the Miura Peninsula as souvenirs.

Fees (Tax Included):

  • For a family of two: ¥19,800 (Adults: ¥10,300, Children: ¥9,500)
    • Additional participants: Adults: ¥10,300, Children: ¥9,500 each
    • Children: For ages 3 to under 12 years old

  • For a family of two: ¥15,840 (Adults: ¥8,240, Children: ¥7,600)
