Family-Friendly Private Tour of the Romancecar Museum by Odakyu and JR Tokai

Introduction: Calling all train enthusiasts and families! Join us for an exclusive “Conductor and Driver Experience” event hosted by JR Tokai and the Romancecar Museum. Immerse yourself in the world of trains and discover what it’s like to be a conductor or driver for a day. This special event takes place on June 17, 2023, from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Romancecar Museum.

Event Details:

  • Date and Time: June 17, 2023, Saturday, 18:30 – 20:30
  • Location: Romancecar Museum
    • Easily accessible from Odakyu Line and Sotetsu Line Ebina Station, or a 30-minute train ride from Shin-Yokohama Station. Transportation expenses to the venue are the responsibility of the participants.

Available Plans (Limited Capacity):

  1. Driver Experience: Dress in uniforms and explore the driver’s seat. (6 groups)
  2. Conductor Experience: Wear uniforms and explore the conductor’s room. (6 groups)
  3. 7000 Series “LSE” Simulator Experience: (6 groups)
  4. Paper Craft Experience: (16 groups)
  5. Athletic Experience: (20 groups)
  6. Museum Tour Plan: (35 groups)
    • Advance registration is required.
    • Groups must consist of parents and children, with up to 4 people per group.

Participation Fees (Tax Included):

  1. Driver Experience: Adults ¥2,800, Children ¥2,200
  2. Conductor Experience: Adults ¥2,800, Children ¥2,200
  3. Simulator Experience: Adults ¥1,800, Children ¥1,300
  4. Paper Craft Experience: Adults ¥1,800, Children ¥1,300
  5. Athletic Experience: Adults ¥1,500, Children ¥1,000
  6. Museum Tour Plan: Adults ¥1,000, Children ¥500
