Cherry Blossom Festival at the renowned Hiyorizan Park Hiyoriyama Park boasts approximately 400 cherry blossom trees, including Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms. Since 1981, the Sakura Festival has been held, featuring the installation of lanterns in the park and the illumination of the “Sengoku Sen” (a traditional boat).
