Tour with a local guide on an electric bike
Hiroshima, along with Nagasaki, is well-known as one of the cities where an atomic bomb was dropped. However, upon visiting the city of Hiroshima, you might find it difficult to imagine the devastation as the city has remarkably rebuilt itself. This is where our recommended tour comes in. With an English-speaking local guide, you can visit buildings and sites related to the atomic bomb and gain insights from a local perspective.
All participants on this tour will be using electric bikes, so please come dressed in comfortable attire suitable for cycling. The tour starts at the Rest House in Peace Memorial Park and takes you through areas such as Sendamachi, Miyukibashi, and Kyobashigawa, with the guide sharing various stories at each location. If you wish to have a guided tour inside the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum (Atomic Bomb Museum), this can be requested as an optional add-on. This museum is a must-visit.
