Promoting Tourism Efforts Across Japan! This is a lighting event that has been taking place since the autumn of 2022. Takasaki’s winter street trees are beautifully illuminated, creating a warm atmosphere on chilly nights. The event runs until the end of February.

Takasaki Illumination Festival 2022 Symphony Road, Higashi Nijo Street, Jiko Street, Otemae Street, and other locations are adorned with countless lights, adding a brilliant shine to Takasaki’s winter cityscape. The event is divided into several venues, allowing you to explore the city while enjoying the festivities. At Takasaki Castle Park, the illuminations on the trees create a fantastic scene reflected in the moat’s water. You can also enjoy the Flower Tree at Takasaki Station West Exit and popular bench decorations.
