47th Annual Koga Peach Blossom Festival – Koga, Ibaraki Prefecture

茨城県古河桃まつり

Information on tourism initiatives from various regions in Japan! The Koga Peach Blossom Festival has its origins in the Edo period when the lord of Koga planted peach trees in his domain. When the peach blossoms are in full bloom, it’s easy to imagine a peach paradise. Enjoy peach blossom viewing in the Peach Blossom Village.

The 47th Annual Koga Peach Blossom Festival takes place in the peach grove within Koga Kofu Park, where approximately 1,600 peach trees of five different varieties (Yaguchi, Jusei, Genpei, Kikumomo, and Kanpaku) bloom vividly, offering a unique and delightful flower viewing experience distinct from cherry blossoms.
