The 33rd Annual Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival in Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture, features the distinctive deep pink Kawazu cherry blossoms lining the lower reaches of the Kawazu River, with approximately 850 cherry trees in a row. There are also areas where you can enjoy the contrast between the cherry blossoms and fields of rapeseed flowers.
*Please note that due to measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, some facilities such as parking lots and temporary toilets may be closed, events may be scaled down, and there will be measures in place, including hygiene practices, mask-wearing, and cough etiquette. Depending on the COVID-19 situation, the festival may be canceled.
